Early Morning Tiredness Empty Early Morning Tiredness

Post by Amethyst Tue May 04, 2010 3:22 pm

Kaito walked into the kitchen brushing his hair from his eyes. His body was slumped forward slightly and his eyes partly closed. Due to it being early morning, he was still in his nightclothes and barefooted. Despite still being partly asleep, he was too hungry to wait for someone else to cook breakfast, and so headed for the fridge, seaching for first orange juice, and then something easy for him to cook. Maybe bread and butter...

Yasuo came in, stretching with arms above his head, licking his dry lips. He came up behind Kaito and beside him, pushing him out of the way. He didn't say a word as he began rummaging and bringing out milk and egg.

Kaito glared at him and grabbed him by the back of the neck, proceeding to pull him away from the fridge and push him to the side away from it. He moved back to the fridge and brought out the carton of orange juice and the loaf of bread, then going to the workside, placing them both down. Kaito then went to the cupboard and got a cup.

Yasuo let out a loud growl of some sort, his eyes narrowing darkly. He tried to ignore Kaito but it was hard when he hated the Rat so much. He went to the stove, bringing out a pan.

Kaito poured out his orange juice and then put it away in the fridge. He then got out a board and put the loaf onto it before yanking a draw open and drew out a long, sharp knife. He started to cut the bread, ignoring the fact that the stupid infuriating cat was also in the room

Yasuo opened the drink carton and took a long, large swig straight from it, the eggs open on the side ready to be used.

Kaito's spare hand swiftly backhanded him on the back of his head. "Don't drink out of the carton, you idiot, you will give us all your germs." He said calmly, carrying on cutting the bread, able to hear more footsteps in the house.

"Shut up!" Yasuo growled back, choking slightly on the milk and holding back a cough that was coming up. Or rather the milk backtracking up his breathing tube.

Kaito smirked lightly as he heard Yasuo slightly choke. He mightn't have been aiming for that, but it was still an achievement. He went to another cupboard and got out a plate, placing it beside the board as he proceeded to then butter the bread carefully, and then getting some jam out. Home made strawberry jam.

Yasuo closed his eyes, taking a deep breath to stop himself from attacking Kaito or whacking him over the head with a frying pan, instead he heated up oil in the pan.

Kaito spread jam carefully onto his buttered bread. That stupid cat was so selfish, as usual. He looked to the kitchen door as a taller man older than them entered.

"Morning both of you," Tsukasa smiled to Yasuo and Kaito as he moved over to the fridge. He was already dressed and looked ready for the day.

Yasuo reached over Kaito, pushing him slightly and grabbed the bread, taking into over to the side again. "Tsukasa-san, would you like french toast that I'm making?"

"Please, that would be lovely," Tsukasa smiled and gave a nod. He head over to the tea pot to start making some tea. "Would either of you like some tea?"

"No thank you," Kaito politely declined Tsukasa's offer as he glared at the cat for pushing him. He plated up his jam bread and then turned to leave the kitchen with it and his orange juice.

A little boy with a tuft of dark hair came running through, bashing into Kaito with a loud giggle.

"Would Tsubasa-kun like any?" Yasuo asked quietly.

Some of Kaito's juice spilt onto the floor as he steadyed himself, giving the small boy a smile. "Hello there, Tsu-chan, how are you this morning?"

"I'm sure he would," Tsukasa gave a nod. "Dumbo-chan, would you like some french toast? and what else do you want for breakfast?"

"TOAST! YUMMY!" grinned Tsubasa, ignoring Kaito for juice and rushing to his dad, clinging to the tall man's legs.

A small smile hinted at Yasuo's lips at the little boy, a soft expression resting on his face.

Tsukasa smiled and put his arms down to hold his son. "And would you like anything else?" he asked him softly, one hand stroking lightly through his hair.

Kaito watched the small boy run away from him, not answering his question. He smiled slightly and then turned, leaving the kitchen without glancing to Yasuo

Yasuo turned to make the french toast.

Yasuo hadn't realised he'd been offered tea. He wasn't given a lot of kindness with this family.

Tsubasa jumped up and down, clapping as he did so.

"I can make the pancakes..." Yasuo muttered, afraid he'd be told he was out of line.

"Dumbo-chan, what drink?" Tsukasa asked his son when he received no answer. While waiting for the little one to reply he looked over to the cat zodiac. "I’d be very grateful for that, thank you," he smiled. "I’m making myself some tea, would you like some?" Tsukasa decided to ask him directly

"Milk please, Daddy!" Tsubasa grinned excitedly.

Tsukasa nodded to show that he had heard Yasuo and then smiled to his son. "Of course," he turned and headed to the fridge, getting out the milk and then got him out a cup. He poured out the milk and then passed him the milk. "Here," he smiled to him.

"Thank you, Daddy!" grinned Tsubasa excitedly, taking his milk over to the table and sitting at it and waiting.

Yasuo just cooked.

(OOC: that's one thing I meant when I said about layout of house. I wondered if we should have a bit like in the aime where they eat in the front room at a table, with no table in kitchen. What you think?)

Tasukasa smiled and kissed his forehad and ruffled his hair lightly as he passed him to head back to his tea.
